I was pretty happy to see a new release of Pinta was available and I installed it, but it's a bit unstable on my machine (Linux Mint 19.3). The most common issue I'm seeing is opening a file, then clicking on any tool or menu will crash the program. Are there any log files or crash reports dumped anywhere? I'm also a .NET dev and I'd like to help contribute, but after a quick cursory glace thru the source code, I didn't see where I might find any logs.

There isn't any logging built into Pinta, but you should see some output if you launch it from a terminal
If it's crashing frequently you might be hitting https://bugs.launchpad.net/pinta/+bug/1877235, which could be solved by e.g. updating Mono via https://www.mono-project.com/download/stable/#download-lin
Great, glad it's working now!

Thanks - updating Mono seems to have done the trick for the installed version. I was also able to get the solution to build and run on both Windows 10 + VS 2019 and LinuxMint + Rider. I'm going to see if I can tackle any bugs!
