I've just downloaded Pinta and tried to use the pencil, but it will only color one pixel and not a line of any kind. Just a minor inconvenience for what I'm doing, but help would be welcome!

@Wonka, if you fond a solution it is nice if is is provided in answer. Solution in this case in my humble opinion is to use Paintbrush tool where brush width can be changed.
