I think you need to set the LANG
environment variable to the appropriate code, like en-US
, before launching Pinta.
Hi! Mine Pinta is Swedish... how can I fix the problem... I don't know anything about 'LAND - environment'.
"I think you need to set the LANG environment variable to the appropriate code, like en-US, before launching Pinta." Nice, but where can i find "the LANG environment variable"?

I am using Windows instead of MacOS so I will show you the solution in Windows. In the location where your software installed, find the locale
folder, usually in C:\Program Files\Pinta\locale
. Then copy the file named pinta.mo
in en_GB
folder then paste and replace it in ar
folder.
Ok, so this is the "solution" I found. In a command line tool, go to "/Applications/Pinta.app/locale" and delete all the language resources you don't need. I actually deleted all the "locale" folder since I wanted it to be in english.

With Pinta 2.0 the system language settings should work properly now
