Hello there, thanks a lot for this wonderful open source app. My son is trying to use it for his coding. When we installed it to our laptop it looks like the attached pic (Pinta_Z). In website or else where it looks like as attached (Pinta.com). Just wondering how we could solve this problem. Thanks in advance for your help. Kiron

This is how I solved the same issue.
-
Navigate to the install location for Pinta ( probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Pinta\ ).
-
Right click on the Pinta.exe file and select Properties.
-
Select the Compatibility tab.
-
Click on the Change high DPI settings button.
-
Underneath the High DPI scaling override section, click the Override high DPI scaling behavior box.
-
Change the dropdown selection from Application to System or System (Enhanced).
-
Click the OK button.
-
You should now be back at the Pinta.exe Properties window. Click Apply and then click OK.
-
Open Pinta like you would normally.
The downside to this workaround is that Menus, text, icons etc will be smaller, but for me, they are completely usable even with my failing eyesight.
There might be some additional tweaks that could improve the sizing (such as Program DPI > Open Advanced scaling settings - but note that you have to log off and then back on for those settings to apply).
