I constantly do the following:

1. print-screen
2. Rectangle Select
3. then move selected area to some other part of image.

In MS-Paint there is an option if you click and hold mouse on selected area and then move mouse, selected area is moved - just like if Move Selected Pixels is clicked in Pinta. I miss this feature a lot, because I am so used to MS-Paint functioning.
