Yeah, the Triaged status is similar to Confirmed (see https://help.launchpad.net/Bugs/Statuses).
I think it might be worthwhile to ask for some opinions on the mailing list, though, so that we can get some input on what a suitable behaviour should be.

I'm a bit new to Pinta development, so I have to ask. If a bug or feature request has the Status Triaged, does that mean that we want to fix it/implement it?
In the case of this request, I can easily make the Effects window show up in the top left corner of the screen (not the application). That is a one line code change. I need to know a few things before moving on with this.
Do we want to move the window in the top right corner of the application as grofaty suggests? Most of the other windows (e.g. the one for adjusting curves) show up in the center of the screen. If we change where the effects windows show up, should we also change all the other ones, for the sake of consistency?
When I know the answer to these questions I can implement a final solution for this.
