I tried to save as to a .pdf file so I could send the drawing to others for review and not have them download another program. However there was no way I found to do this since it went to all files. Is there a way to save files from Fresh Diagram to Acrobat .pdf files so people can view them?

Windows provides a "PDF Printer" which allows FreshDiagram (and any other Windows program that supports printing) to create a PDF file.
Just go to File -> Print
and choose Microsoft Print to PDF
to create a PDF.
Yes I tried what you said here and my lines between other symbols got messed up. Compare the two drawings and you will see what I mean. How do I keep the lines, lines when converting to .pdf file instead of them becoming triangles or other symbols?

Ugh, that's not good. It appears to be some sort of bug in Microsoft's PDF Printer. Printing to a printer and to XPS works just fine.
Additionally I installed the FoxIt PDF printer and it worked correctly: https://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf-reader/
I think using a different PDF printer like FoxIt may be the only option here. I'll see if I can file a bug with Microsoft, but it's unlikely to be fixed in a timely matter.
