#262 - How to remove parts a selected area

Hi, I was wondering when you use S to select an area, you can hold down a certain key and click to remove certain spots of that area. I know that you can add more to the area while holding down Control. I'd really appreciate the help :D.

Hi, you can remove part of the selected area in two ways:

option

click on Rectangle Select tool,
from Selection Mode drop down window select "Exclude" and then use left mouse button to exclude area

opion

click on Recatangle Select tool
hold right mouse button and "draw" selection with right mouse pressed down.
