Hello, Are you planning 16 bit support? I found Pinta is extremely usefull for editing scanned tiff negatives (300GB). It has got very quick and precise color inverting and auto levels algoritm. It gives better and very realistic results than Gimp, RawTherappy etc. But lack of 16 bit support is big limitation for me.
