I downloaded a .jpg file that was named "index.jpe" and couldn't open it due to an "unsupported file format" error. I was able to open it after changing the file extension to .jpg, but I notice that other editors such as GIMP have the ability to recognize the file format regardless of the extension in the name. It would be nice for Pinta to have this capability as well.
