I found Pinta on linux, now I am using it on my windows computers. It really has a lot of great features. My request is for a polygon lasso tool ( magnetic would be nice too). you have rect, oval, regular lasso and magic select, I always use the polygon as it's so much easier to cut out objects in the image.
