I have been using Pinta for 2 years with my Linux Mint operating system, and I love it and would like to continue using it. But it stopped working -- it freezes and crashes in Linux Mint version 19.1. My understanding is that the problem is that Pinta's software has not been upgraded/updated for the last 4 years or so. So please, please do some tinkering with Pinta so that it will once again work with Linux Mint. Thank you for your consideration.

Pinta 1.7 has just been released with many fixes. You may also want to try updating to Mono 6.10 (e.g. from https://www.mono-project.com/download/stable/#download-lin) if you're on Linux, which fixes many stability issues
