I see! It would, I know nothing of packaging but would certainly help with testing if needed :) Hopefully we'll see one in the future.

Also note that with the GTK3 version of Pinta, the .NET runtime can easily be bundled to produce a more standalone executable (this is the case for https://github.com/PintaProject/Pinta/releases/tag/dev-preview-builds), although that still would require the GTK3 libs to be installed on the system.

I'm not sure how many distribution methods we would want to officially support, as that adds a lot of overhead and work for the Pinta maintainers. But this would be great for someone in the community to work on, similar to the existing Flatpak / Snap packages.
